Manchester Food & Drink Review

Award-winning restaurant Jem & I (Michelin Bib Gourmand 2003-2006) could be described as one of the best restaurants in Didsbury.

'...Michelin Bib Gourmand...'

January 2006 saw a new look Jem & I, with a revamp resulting in sleek modem surroundings. The dark wood flooring, deep red walls and upstairs gallery over-looking the new bar area, all accentuate the grandeur of this former bank.

'...fantastic eatery...'

At last the overall look of Jem & I matches the quality of the cuisine served. A Didsbury boy through and through, Jem O'Sullivan stuck to his roots and opened this fantastic eatery in the heart of this fine suburb.
Best described as Modem European, all of Jem's culinary creations are freshly-made on the premises on a daily basis. He built upon his much coveted reputation whilst at Didsbury Steak and Kebab, and at the 1999 Food and Drink Festival, he won the Best Chef award for his work at the The Lincoln. A venture to Jem & I will reveal exactly why.

The restaurant is totally non-smoking and offers disabled access.
